Guidelines

Rules and Requirement

  1. GINECO 2024 is open to high school and college students worldwide.
  2. Each team can consist of a maximum of 4 people.
  3. Staff, teachers, and lecturers may join as team members, but a student must be the team leader.
  4. Team compositions can be: 3 students + 1 staff/teacher/lecturer, or all 4 members can be students.
  5. Participants are allowed to submit more than one submission.
  6. The fees listed apply to a single submission. For additional submissions, participants must pay according to the number of submissions.
  7. GINECO 2024 does not tolerate plagiarism, theft, or similar misconduct.

Registration and Submission Guidelines

  1. All participants must register via Microsoft CMT. ( click here to register)
  2. Participants must submit their abstract/business plan according to their category.
  3. Participants will receive a letter of acceptance from the committee. Payment can be made upon receipt of the LOA.
  4. After payment, participants can submit the poster(innovation), pitch deck(entrepreneurship),and video presentation .

  6. Registration is open from August 19, 2024, to October 16, 2024.

Poster Design

  1. Posters must be in portrait layout, A3 size (Width: 297mm, Height: 420mm).
  2. Posters must follow the provided template.
  3. The institution’s logo can be placed in the top right corner of the poster.
  4. Poster must upload to Google Drive and set the access to ‘Anyone with the link’.
  5. Poster submission only submit link of poster file from Google Drive.

Video Format

  1. The video duration must not exceed 5 minutes.
  2. Videos longer than 5 minutes will affect the scoring.
  3. Videos may be filmed with a professional camera and edited with editing software.
  4. Video must upload to Google Drive and set the access to ‘Anyone with the link’.
  5. Video submission only submit link of video file from Google Drive.

General Judging Criteria

  2. Relevance to problem solving
  3. Contribution to the community
  4. Presentation
